Things You Need To Do Before or Right When School Starts
There are many things you have already done and there are things you definitely NEED to do in the beginning of school or when school starts. We all know socializing is good for us as humans. So what are the few things you need to do right when school starts?
School sucks and not everyone likes going to classes everyday. We get super busy and at the end, we forget everything just to try and do well in our classes. Well… here’s a few things I came up with to help you better your mood and emotions before school starts.
1. Hang out with friends you’ve never hung out with before.
Most likely, you haven’t hung out with so and so since elementary school. Why not hit them up and ask them if they want to go and get some coffee with you? You could also go and watch a movie together, go to the beach together, or just drive around together. Catch up on life and see if you could help them in any way in life and if they can help you in any way in life. The most important thing about this is to connect and reconnect with the other person.
2. Go to the beach!
Go and take a walk on the beach. Clear your head and think about life. This will help reduce stress and anxiety. Take deep breaths and enjoy the scenery, weather, mother nature, and life.
I remember when I was young, we would take nice long walks on the beach. Oh what I would I give up to be able to rewind time again and do the same! I wish I had more time in life. I wish there wasn’t as much stress in my life. I wish there wasn’t as much anxiety and things to do in life. I wish I could just lay or walk on the beach. If only there was more time in the day, I would do that.
Think about how great life is and how much you’re going to accomplish in the future for yourself and for other people. Just remember, when school gets busy, you possibly won’t have time to do this.
3. Take a walk around your town.
This is for people who do not live next to the beach or an ocean. I would love to walk around my town and get to know my town even a little more. I like sitting on benches and watching the cars go by. There are many things you can do in your town, whether it’s small or big. Taking a walk around your town is also good for your health. If you don’t like walking by yourself, you can take a friend with you or even one of your family members. Don’t forget to relax and enjoy everything your town or city has to offer.
4. Watch your favorite movie.
Watch your favorite movie… again. Yes, watch your favorite movie again. My favorite movie has to be one of my childhood movies like Toy Story. When tests are wild at school and your brain decides to die, you can think about the great times you watched your favorite movie. It will help you relax and take a break. When things start to get busy, you won’t be able to watch any movies at all. Better do it now when you have the time!
5. Get out and exercise!
Woo, getting that workout in feels great! It feels better than ever! This is something shouldn’t just do once but should do every day! I’m putting this on this article because doing this while you’re not busy will help you get in a good habit for when the school year starts. Here’s what Mayo Clinic has to say about working out and exercising:
Exercise increases your overall health and your sense of well-being, which puts more pep in your step every day. But exercise also has some direct stress-busting benefits.
Working out and exercising helps relief stress. It helps pump up your endorphins and helps improve your mood. Getting in this good habit will help you and your health be in good shape when hard times come. Working out and exercising is also very good for your body and helps you live a long and healthy life.
I hope you got something good and useful out of all of these things. If you have any questions or any other suggestions, please let me know in the comments below! 🙂
