Not sure how to start this one out but some of these things are not necessarily weird but very unique. This does not include all California”ns” but most of them.
Sunglasses
You’ll see people wearing sunglasses during the day when the sun is out. Yes, of course that’s what sunglasses are made for, but many people wear sunglasses even when it’s foggy.
Bragging about food
When you live in California, you live in one of the most diverse places in the world. That includes good Mexican food, authentic Chinese food, legit Indonesian food, and other mouth watering goodies. California has the best places for desert such as Pinkberry, Jamba Juice, and The Cheesecake Factory. That also doesn’t include the awesome food trucks right down the street. Oh yeah, did we mention avocados? Yes, avocados, especially organic and fresh, attracts people in California.
Wait, there’s more. We couldn’t leave out In-N-Out Burger so here it is. From a Double-Double, to Animal Style Fries, to a sweet, yummy, chocolate shake; California is definitely lucky to have In-N-Out.
There’s stuff to be done
It always seems like there’s stuff to be done. You can tell by the way people do things; whether walking or driving, you can tell they’re on their way to do something and don’t want to be interrupted. Of course, we don’t mean this in a bad way. It seems like people are more productive and are accomplishing a lot.
Scared of rain
You duck, you hide, or you drive really slow. Californians don’t get much rain and when they do, it’s almost like a tornado is about to hit them. When it rains, people in California drive much slower, are more cautious, and sometimes in a really bad mood. Oh yeah, that also doesn’t include the weather talk you hear in conversations at grocery stores or other public places.
Where we’re from
People from California love to talk about how they’re from one of the best states in the US. With easy beach access, the mountains and deserts only a few hours away, and the world’s best things in life; of course people are going to brag they’re from California. The California dream life you in movies you watch and all the TV shows you see is actually real but may not seem real to people from California since they live it every day. California is truly a great place to be from and live.
So what was this whole “article” about? It’s mainly to express how awesome California is and why people choose to move here and stay here. The beach is right down the road and you can almost experience all four seasons every day depending on where you are in California. California is not only a vacation spot for many but a destination.
